ASSA Second Members Day with the Navy & Congress
The American Shipbuilding Suppliers Association (ASSA) held its second Members Day with the Navy & Congress on March 9, 2012 at the US Navy Memorial in Washington DC. The second event saw an increased memberhship and prominent speakers from the Navy and Congress. ASSA Partners with the Navy League of the United States
The American Shipbuilding Suppliers Association (ASSA) is pleased to announce its partnership with the Navy League Corporate Membership Program to bring our respective members greater access to important DC-area events. The Navy League has provided a powerful voice for a stronger sea service to Congress and to the American people for 110 years. The Navy League has grown into the foremost citizens' organization to serve, support, and stand with all the sea services – U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine. The American Shipbuilding Suppliers Association (ASSA) was recently incorporated to focus on the needs and concerns of our shipbuilding industrial supplier base and complement the activities and support provided by the Navy League. ASSA Exhibits at ASNE Day 2012
The American Shipbuilding Suppliers Association (ASSA) would like to thank the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) for providing the opportunity for ASSA to exhibit at the upcoming ASNE Day 2012 event. The close cooperation of associations that share the common goal of improving the US Navy and its ability to meet its strategic national defense mission is critical in these challenging times. ASNE Day, the annual meeting of the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), kicks off on Wednesday, February 8 with a President’s Club Luncheon with the main sessions following on Thursday and Friday, February 9-10.

Based on the response to our first ASSA event, we are anticipating that subsequent events will be members only.
Joining ASSA now will provide you the option of being invoiced in 2012 and will give you the opportunity to participate in a full year of important ASSA events. This will also allow ASSA to make the necessary arrangements for future member events. We will soon be developing a members' section on the ASSA website which will provide valuable information and commentary.
